General Information
Support:
- Flexible tanks are required to be supported on all sides excluding the top surface.
- This is normally provided by bulkheads, bunk fronts and the hull itself.
- In addition the area should be free from sharp surfaces and protrusions.
Breather:
- During filling, air is often taken in with the flow of water, positioning the inlet fitting top centre will allow for "self burping".
- Should this be unsuitable and filling from the end be required then a breather fitted top centre is recommended.
Fittings:
- Tanks are supplied with fittings to suit customer's requirements.
- Standard fittings include: straight tail, elbow or capped fittings available in sizes from 0.5"/15mm to 2"/50mm
Filters:
- As water taste is affected by both water quality and boat odour, water filter are recommended.
- These can be sourced from a local marine chandlers or water purification supplier.
