Covertex's Emergency AirShelter is the perfect air supported, durable solution for emergency services, providing rapid shelter in most locations for short term or semi-permanent use. Custom-modified to suit specific needs, the standard design incorporates a network of independent inflatable arch and horizontal chambers supporting a protective outer skin and built in floor. All Emergency AirShelters are manufactured to superior quality specifications from quality technical fabrics, with fully welded seams. Each structure is integrated to become one complete weather proof unit.
Being a self contained fabric based product makes the Emergency AirShelter simple to handle. It is compact, portable and easily carried by two people. Inflation takes only 3 to 6 minutes and once fully inflated, it can be relocated by as few as four people.
The standard Emergency Airshelters are available in sizes of 5 x 5m or 7.5 x 5m. However, Covertex has a highly skilled in-house design team able to custom make one for your purpose.
The AirShelter is a self-contained inflatable structure designed to provide rapid deployment with the minimum manpower for emergency shelter in any location. Assembly is simply unroll and inflate.
The design incorporates a framework of independent inflatable chambers supporting a protective outer roof, end walls with zip doorways and a built in robust floor.
In addition each individual AirShelter can be inter-linked with another providing a weatherproof seal for grouping of AirShelters in field operations.
Independent & removable chambers
Each arch chamber is completely independent and is fastened to the shelter roof attachment strip with nylon fastenings.
This ensures damage to one chamber does not affect the other chambers and enables the complete removal of any arch chamber for servicing or infield replacement.
