Defence Large Service Shelters (LSS)

Covertex's Large Service Shelter is the big brother to the Defence AirShelter^TM. The LSS shares similar system qualities including its durability, flexibility and engineering standards. It is designed for medium to long-term deployment. As such it features air beams fitted with inner bladders, bypassing the need for regular air pressure top ups.

The LSS are supplied as a complete unit with roof and floor welded together and inflatable arch chambers pre-fitted. Depending on whether the structure is a singular unit or modular/interconnectable the end walls are supplied fitted or removeable.
Set up and inflation is as simple as unroll, secure & inflate, this process is generally completed by 6 persons within 3-4 hours.

The LSS are available in either singular sealed or modular/interconnectable units.  These structures are available in widths spanning up to 12.0m with lengths and features to suit customers handling requirements making these structures ideal for a variety of needs, such as vehicle & aircraft infield servicing or specilist NBC decontamination & vapour control. Each unit can be custom sized and designed, and is available in military specified or commercial materials.
